They were extremely understanding, had read my resume beforehand and didn't waste time. When asked about my reason for choosing Taco Bell, I first started to come up with the generic response. Then I admitted "honestly, I'm just broke" and they were happy and understanding with my honesty.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The responsibility goes beyond delivering a good product to the customer. We're very considerate of each other and what our needs are. At times I haven't felt 100% and my coworkers made the difference for me, and I've done the same for them. I'm easy to stress and this place isn't stressful at all.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They work with me and what I want to make sure I'm enjoying working there. I let them know my personal/scheduling limits and they've worked with me on that to give me the hours I ask for. Beyond that, they're very competent and fitting for their position and take on a huge amount of responsibility.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I wake up I don't feel the sense of dread that I've felt at other places, and I'm genuinely excited to see everyone and do my job. No matter how big the "rush" I never feel overwhelmed by the amount of work. There's no labor quota, you just do your 'chores' and get some good food out the window
