Day two my manager, Rhoda Mendoza told me that I cannot come to her with any complaints, especially about Sondra Fox who yelled at me for being too slow on day 2. My manager recently yelled at me for a good portion of the morning for a note I wrote to night shift telling them to do their own dishes.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The customers get met with hostility, just like the workers, if they complain. I have seen and heard many instances of customer verbal abuse.
What did you like most about the interview process?
That I got the job, but I seriously wish anyone there would have warned me about the manager and I wouldn't have taken the job. I have been verbally abused almost daily of my 5 months working there.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The manager, Rhoda Mendoza talks over you if you try and express any concerns, even for your well being and she will only listen to her favorites or her daughter. Nepotism is a big problem in the Rochester Wa 98579 store.
