In the past year companies have pushed the envelope to really show their appreciation towards their employees. There is a financial revolution taking place, and Taco Bell does not know how to follow, let alone innovate. This is costing Taco Bell countless employees along with morale and performance.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to improve communication, consistency, and accountability.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Fellow managers and smiling customers make work more pleasant.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I knew I'd get the job without having to try or do anything because our company is desperate and will even rehire people who were fired or walk out.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
People in general while on the clock need to find something to do rather than to be told to do it. I find myself cleaning up after people and cleaning up after their attempts to clean up.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are understaffed and you can provide more money for labor to attract people with better work ethics. We barely have the staff to run a line let alone a store. Gosh forbid I have to clean a bathroom. Our times will skyrocket. We run out of product at night because we don't have time to prepare it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because I work the job of a shift lead and team member and there is no possible way Taco Bell can or will accomadate for that. I will do 3% of my current work at a new place and be paid 2 dollars more than Taco Bell is willing to pay me after adding more responsibilities first.
