Ms. Ward served as the President of Community Relations and Target Foundation at Target Corp. from July 2008 to December 2014. She served as a Vice President of Community Relations of Target Corporation from December 2003 to July 2008. Ms. Ward began her career at Target Corporation in 1991 as Stores Sales Leader for Dayton's department store and served as Vice President of Target Foundation in 2003. She has been a Director of Denny's Corporation since January 26, 2010. She serves as Board Chair of Corporation for National and Community Service. She serves on the boards of the Executive Leadership Council, a national membership organization for African-American executives and the Tiger Woods Learning Center, an education facility located in Southern California. She is a member of The Links, an international women's service organization and of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Master's degree in Social Service Administration, Nonprofit Management and Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
