What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is highly-talented, driven, and collaborative. Everyone here jumps in to help a colleague without hesitation. "Job descriptions" are non-existent, meaning anyone on any level will do what's required to help us all be successful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My team is severely overworked and under-resourced. The additional workload and expectations related to COVID response have taken us to the brink of burnout. This pace, especially without increases in compensation or additional staff to meet the increasing demand is unsustainable.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our culture is collaborative, inclusive, and high-octane. No day is ever like the day before, which is exciting and allows those who embrace challenges to thrive. However, the workload and deadline expectations are frantic and unrealistic. We burn out talent at an alarming pace.
What makes you most happy at work?
I'm happy when I feel appreciated and when my contributions are making a difference in the business and the lives of my colleagues. I love challenging work with a team of amazing professionals who are expert collaborators and committed to achieving our shared vision. We have that here in spades!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership truly cares about the health, safety, and job security of all employees during the pandemic. Our CEO got our teams working on safety and business continuity efforts LONG BEFORE the virus was on the global radar. He set us up for success by springing into action early and with tenacity
