Uber Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

RSU's. It less compared to other but - thats the best part.

Review from Finance Dept

The meal station, the gym, the unlimited vacations and the wellbeing reimbursement

It is fair and obtainable

Gym and food provided at the office

Review from Marketing Dept

I think the best are Medical insurance/Uber credit/well-being program

Uber Cash/credit, Health Insurance & Corporate Card

The wellness package is very beneficial for my family and the HMO. I am very grateful for that.

It is fine. Pretty standard.

Uber credits are nice, as well as the wellness benefit. The wellness benefit could be tweaked for cost of living adjustments as its been the same amount for the past 4 yr

Review from Finance Dept

Stock option and uber credits

Review from Marketing Dept

Wellness allowance. It makes me feel cared for as a human.

The wellness program is an important one.

Everything is valuable, but I consider that benefits, salary, bonuses, incentives, and even the development opportunities, they are above what other companies offer.

Review from Legal Dept

monthly uber credit allows me to travel with uber more often

The equity in the business

Overall I am satisfied what my organization offers me under the compensation benefits.

Wellness benefit, that allows me to invest in my wellbeing apart from my salary

Review from Customer Success Dept

stock and 401K match are both valuable

Review from Legal Dept

The emotional salary without a doubt

I have a lot of benefits

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Higher base pay in line with London's cost of living

refresher not adjusted with stock price

To get paid accordingly to the level of my job

I retrograde in terms of salary compare to my previous job

I feel I am hired at a level below where I belong. My relevant work experience and skills are comparable to folks at a level above my current level

Literally find any reason to fire people in the sales sector “quiet firing” by increasing workload but not fixing problems with number/leads. Whe

Review from Sales Dept

Connecting with a member of the Uber team. Not support, but someone who can hear my concerns about the company. I'm hoping we can improve and keep growing.

Review from Customer Success Dept

They have really allowed the talent to drain, as they could not release the results for so long time. It is really disappointing to see that a industry leading company is doing this. They still don't have any visibility about when the results could be declared.

Review from Engineering Dept

Uber freight employees should also get discounts on uber rides / credits

Review from Product Dept

HUGE workload, medium pay, benefit is good

the uniqueness of my role is not captured/aligned to the market

My grad school program and NYC have pay transparency. I knew how much my grad school classmates were paid by the time we graduated. I can also gauge how much my friends are paid based on their rent threshold, which is astronomical in NYC. I know I'm below the mark.

Delivering for 2 years for 2 levels upper than mine but never receives a rise

Review from Engineering Dept

engineers are paid in same salary ranges regardless of the amount on times they're required to be on call. that makes engineers from smaller teams less paid by hour.

Review from Engineering Dept

salary is quite low and is difficult to rent a place in Lisbon and survive with it

Review from Communications Dept

Medical private insurance Salary relative to all functions Grocery Voucher

Better work and vision. From a comp perspective better refreshers

Review from Engineering Dept

We do not have benefits other tech companies have, e.g. Caja de ahorro

Review from Communications Dept

more money and don't tax our food/uber cash benefits

I have sent my job description to a friend at a consulting firm and I am underpaid about $15k off the bat for entry level. With my experience, that brings me to being underpaid by about $24k.
