The union will represent employees with HR issues with management and there are a lot of problems that come up in my opinion compared to other companies. Lots of supervisors are fresh from high school. Best way to get UPS HR involved is to call the National HR hotline a toll free number so it gets logged and the headquarters people follow up with the local HR. Do not expect miracles.
I'm not really sure I emailed HR when I was having a problem I never heard from him back out end up resigning because I got frustrated
They sweep them under the rug. UPS is a bully company. Whatever the problem is, it is always the employees fault.
When they do, it's very slowly, but most complaints seem to be swept under the rug
Depends on the HR person, but they always side with the company
HR is a joke. You’re better off telling a dog
Usually favors the supervisors A lot of finger pointing
Poorly, HR’s biggest concern is avoiding lawsuits
Usually to the company’s benefit
They side with supervision
Terribly
Poorly.
