It's been a very exciting first year at Verizon. I'm amazed at how well I was able to onboard with only 6 weeks in the office before we moved to a WFH model. Our operations team has been outstanding at keeping employees safe and our HR team has been an amazing resource at this challenging time.

We have affordable health coverage, dental and eye care. I also like owning stock in the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Verizon makes an effort to have every voice heard. I feel comfortable being myself around my co-workers.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the sense of accomplishment I feel when completing projects or solving a problem with my team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They make a concerted effort to be transparent to employees and also are very clear about Verizon's mission and goals.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I thought it was a good mix of the appropriate leaders and the human resource lead kept in contact with my status throughout the process.
What are some of the best things about your team?
It's a very flat organization where you're likely to see people with junior titles being given the chance to step up, and our team leads aren't afraid to get in the weeds with us.
