Truth and honesty. Pretending its perfect negates people's actual lived experience.
Knowing that POC with my education and experience are moving up the organization ladder at the same rate as white women and men. In my experience, we aren't being actively and intentionally grown into leader roles at the same rate.
Sr leadership is heading in the right direction. Its middle mgmt that is the furthest away and least likely to pivot. True 3rd party climate study is needed. Most pocs, women etc are at the bottom of the company and primary plan seems to be to hire more instead of growing existing.
