Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The collaborative nature is positive and so is my direct team.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Collaboration is high. Resourcefulness is top tier. Praise and drive are two words that i can say my entire team and department has.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We are not in alignment with national average. The role and responsibilities do nit direct reflect the value in my compensation. The excelling nature of high scoring annual reviews does not reflect the raise appropriately. Its a shame that the pay does not represent the work ethic.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I cannot speak for any leadership outside of my own. I think they have a direct approach of care. They want us to achieve our personal and professional goals. They genuinely show that we are valued through our conversations. They Empower me to be better and to step out out of my comfort zone
