Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Overall, I owe a lot to Victra. It's the first company that not only rewards you for working hard and being persistent, but it grows your ability outside of the company as well. Because of Victra, I am a better communicator, I am more organized, and I better understand the business world in general.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The hourly/salary PLUS commission is awesome. I truly make as much as I want to, and am willing to put in the effort for.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that we are always pushed and encouraged to be the best we can be. If you are money motivated, you receive the tools you need to be successful.
What makes you most happy at work?
Knowing that I can help grow my team not only in their careers, but in life. Victra offers life changing paychecks if you're a hard/consistent worker, and seeing the success of my team is the best feeling there is.
What are some of the best things about your team?
As a store leader, I can create my teams identity, and that identity is a team that exemplifies winning with integrity and grit. I've never worked somewhere that allows the store to have personality while also giving good guidelines for success.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our culture is what we make it! If you believe in the company and what it stands for, you will be successful. So many companies just tell you that you're messing up, but Victra spends a ton of money on leveling up its employees
