Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. The people and relationships are what makes me happy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have a team that loves their jobs and their coworkers. It is a pleasure to be able to work with them on a daily basis.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
With my experience and years in my position I would like to be paid in the top percentile of my ranking. I am currently paid in the bottom percentile
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the consistency and openness of the leadership team. You always know where you and the company stand. I feel like they invest into their teams to continually grow them as individuals.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are in a fast-paced tech business that is always changing. There is always something new to collaborate on. The excitement of the constant change and the collaboration opportunities are the most positive piece of our culture.
