Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. since victra has taken over, its been great money wise. the management has not been the greatest and when i bring something to someones attention, i feel like its just brushed off and forgotten about. makes me feel very unsupported.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that they stay involved.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Honesty should be the first thing that gets looked into.
What makes you most happy at work?
making customers happy and watching them leave happy and come back
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that the company has contests and giveaways sometimes, but sometimes the contests are storewide and some people dont shoot as high as the other employees so we lose out
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do not feel valued because my closest team members and manager do some questionable things, which in turn makes me feel like im losing the trust in the customer base that i have built in the past year i have been here. A raise would be nice as well, 5 years is a long time with a job
