Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. As management changes, we go thru waves where its good to work here and times where it isnt. Currently the executive team is not concerned with its employees but rather their own bottom line. The cuts to make more profit should not be coming from the companies greatest assest, its salespeople.

We all get along and care about the success of the team as a whole
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My store has good culture where we all get along and help each other. THE EXECUTIVE TEAM AT VICTRA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ME AT ALL.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Victra needs to be a people first company again. They just gave every AGM in thr company a pay cut/ demotion for NO reason. You essentially spit in the face of your top salespeople. Whoever implemented these changes DOES NOT CARE about the well being and overall happiness of the employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was given a demotion or face a massive paycut after being a top salesperson for this company. I've never been given an incentive to want to move up. I would feel better being able to keep my current title and pay/comp plan and be given an additonal incentive/haymaker to that we hit target.
