Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Honestly, its been a blessing. There are a lot of things i've done and showcased here at VIctra that led to me being celebrated and given opportunities that were taken for granted by my previous employer. It's great to be at a place that is open to ideas, growth, and gives great support.

Amazing! I left my previous company for growth opportunities, not because I hated. I actually loved what i did prior to coming to Victra. However, Victra had more to give when it came to growth. Investment in us, the desire to grow with us, and the platforms given to showcase our skills is great

I've seen a big increase in celebration! Positive reinforcement of positive results helps great results continue consistently

My team! I demand a lot of my team, but I do it because I care. To see the progress in life, not just career, some sellers have made validates why I'm in leadership
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are given a platform to shine and the support to not be afraid to shine. Too many cultures out there suppress their peoples light. It hard to grow in those environments. thats not the case here at Victra.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The genuineness they display. I dont ever get the the feeling that they're faking the funk. My former RD, Jon Betts, would say to be direct is to be kind and I get that from everyone in leadership. Transparency is key

The celebration! We are a performance based business. Knowing where you stand both good and bad is key to move to the needle. The company does a great job of always letting you know where you stand. Motivate to get better if its not great. and celebrate the heck out of you when you're a pacesetter
