Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Victra is an exceptionally good company, but as is the case too often is largely too focused on micromanagement. Leaders are over worked and often times undervalued. Work life balance is FAR from optimal.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Base Salaries are light for the workload. We end up working 70-80 hours/week. Per store salary is 22kish/year. I understand the value of the bonuses but those only apply if performance is exceptional. Higher salaries indicate a people focused culture
