Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. Everyone brings a "lets get it done and get it done well" attitude.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A culture of celebrating wins and treating losses as opportunities for the the most part. Some things you cant lose on but thats true of every company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Every leaders goals are aligned. I left a store leadership position at a Fortune 50 company because everyone's bonus criteria seemed to be aligned against everyone elses. Victra financial incentives are vertically aligned and thus the leadership is too.
