Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. I feel like the company wants to care. However, we feel under appreciated because we literally are not expected to down time on our days off. We must answer our phones at all times. I would anyway but to be told that is disheartening. I feelnlikenthe company has changed

I love when my people and my peers and leadership win.

My direct leader is amazing. He listens, he coaches, and holds us accountable to becoming better

We always find a way to laugh. And some of us genuinely want the best for each othet
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our employee fund. Most of us are not happy. We are working harder and longer with no reward to show for it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I ,as GM, find it impossible to understand why a Pro makes as much or more than the store leader. We are the ones in a vacuum, new shiftlab is just terrible. Oper leaves at 3:30, next person 3:45, and closer here till 9 by theirselves. I have to sacrifice my family time to cover my people.
