Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. My overall experience at Victra has been great. There is a lot of moving parts, however, our team does a great job in ensuring everyone has the support they need and the resources to become successful.

Everyday is a new day. As a member of HR, you will always find new challenges daily.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is a tight knit group that checks in on one another to ensure we are headed in the right direction.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is kind to one another. In today's world, that is sometimes what is missing. Our staff is friendly and is always willing to create new partnerships amongst one another.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I do feel as though I am compensated fairly. However, it would be great to explore other benefit options/carriers as our current premiums can run a bit high including deductibles etc.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our leadership team has a great balance of being people focused and work focused. They invest time into the people to ensure that everyone is aligned on the vision and journey ahead.
