Victra was founded as a partnership by Richard and David Balot in October 1996 in Wilson, North Carolina. Victra was incorporated as ABC Phones of North Carolina, Inc. in 1999. Today, Victra is independently owned and operated in Raleigh, North Carolina, with more than 200 people in the Store Support Center. In 2020, Victra opened its Communications Center, employing hundreds of team members who handle Verizon Consumer, Business, and Customer Care calls, along with Victra store support. What makes you most happy at work?
i am most happy at work when the store is doing well and my reps are excited to sell and interact with guests
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how easy it is to reach out to my leadership team about issues and questions that i may have so that i can get them resolved in a timely and professional manner
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I need reps that embody my culture and not the culture that they have created while they were missing a leader. they are wildly different worlds and tend to clash a lot. they have tenure compared to me and think that their ways work best rather than what victra has put forth
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
i dont like how they split the stores comission bonus to each pay period. some pay periods are slower than others but overall my store does well and that hurts my pay in the long run. i also wish there was an additional way to make comission as my reps dont have a strong drive to sell
