What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are invested in the success of the teams they lead.

Open, transparent, communicate frequently. They share the same info with us as they do in management meetings with investors. They make sure we understand company strategies in marketing and product development direction. It's a refreshing change.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership made the decision to remove some benefits to prepare for an economic downturn caused from the Covid 19 Pandemic. Removing benefits is an indication that the leadership team isn't connected with employees and not invested in their future as it could reduce overall compensation by 4-15%.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I feel I am compensated fairly and competitively.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm getting paid relatively well within the company but they're just average in the industry. The medical benefits are among the worst I've ever seen at any tech company. Because of this, I need better compensation not to be competitive with the market but to make up for their lack of health coverag

Everyone is a consummate professional and dedicated at performing at the highest level. At the same time, everyone understands that we are all human, and everyone is more than happy to help out in a moment's notice.

A true professional peer to peer feeling. Everyone is easy to get along with. When issues arise, instead of finger pointing or fault finding, we share info and focus on solving the issue at hand. Very positive environment.

Recruiting was basically not involved as an interface for information during the process. It's as though you didn't exist. Hiring manager didn't communicate any interest as well.

It's good most of the times, but there are times I'm assigned tasks that I need to slog through to get done.

vivint is struggling with its sales model; what's worked for the last 5-ish years isn't sustainable. the company mostly sees this, but it needs to happen faster. we should almost give our cameras away for free and then offer awesome services on top of the cameras.
