Focus on communications and actually caring about the employee experience. Actual efforts beyond well-crafted messages from the leadership team. The constant org changes also don't help employees feel like they are in a stable and sane environment.

Focus on the "Belonging" part of VIBE and not just filling up the numbers to get the right proportion of diversity official numbers. Look at teams (at the lower levels) that have a low history of hiring, promoting minorities...A lot of white women get promoted and celebrated but not other women

Do all that can be done bot to erode the culture of what made WD ince a great place to work. A couple of 'bad apple' hires can be toxic.
Coworkers are great, but management does not think those beneath them work hard. Managers often openly speak poorly of others. Finance department in Salt Lake is toxic.
