The people first philosophy is something that I admire about leadership team.

Leadership has a clear vision of where they are planning to take Workday into the future. I can see the role I will play in the joirney and the path to get us there.

Review from Marketing Dept

Review from Marketing Dept
I think our leadership team is approachable and transparent.
Review from HR Dept
They walk the talk of our values, and care about our people.
Review from Customer Support Dept
I don't interact with them enough to have a really formed opinion

There's not a lot of mid level leadership power. Everything has to go "up the chain" before it can be enacted and that keeps things slow and unorganized.

Customer service. Everyone in sales wants to achieve and exceed the goals set. New processes are welcome to drive effeciency and best practice , but leading with fear is not what drives results. t
Review from Sales Dept
Fair compensation, more of a customer focus, hire best talent, better communication, return to what made Workay great versus replicaiting the sins of Oracle and Salesforce.
Review from Sales Dept
There's a disconnect between the company's stated goals and the resources allocated to achieve them. For example, getting rid of talent and deep historical knowledge to save trivial amounts of money but at the employee's experience?
Review from HR Dept
Federal is a mess with the new leadership. The culture is being destroyed. Executive leadership in Pleasanton doesnt seem to recognize the issues. We have a toxic leader!
Review from Sales Dept
Stop pretending everything is normal and that people are our "core value" while eliminiating positions, laying off staff, outsourcing, and cutting things for employees. Just be up front with us, things are bad, Workday is struggling, our stock is floundering and we need to adjust to the marketplace.
Review from HR Dept
Listening regionally to employees. Very US driven decision making that has big impacts in smaller markets.
Review from HR Dept
Ever since the new CEO came, the focus is on the stock price and not the people. As additional comment, the INF automation in the private datacenters has ZERO strategy.
Review from Engineering Dept
less politics, try to cooperate more
Trust employees to do their job. Measure results instead of monitoring presence.
Review from Engineering Dept
Employee engagement, communication and commitment to diversity. Since I've been here, it seems they've made a deliberate choice to keep execs and senior leaders from having to talk directly to employees, all while doing layoffs and major org changes. It's also the least diverse place I've worked.
Review from Communications Dept
Create a better work life balance.
Review from HR Dept
What they say on paper versus in practice are opposite. They do not put employees first and most of what they do is performative. Many bad experiences among marginalized groups at workday, the retention is not good.
Review from Communications Dept
Communicating real goals instead of catchphrases
Review from Engineering Dept
The leadership favors some organizations over others. I happen to work for the services organization and we largely go unappreciated for the work we do given the great amount of skill and knowledge it takes to deploy. Development and sales, among others, get all the love and investment.
Review from Customer Success Dept
The leadership teams need to be more transparent about structural changes within the company. There were many layoffs that happened after we were told they wouldn't be happening. It makes a lot of people feel uneasy about their work.
Review from HR Dept
Be transparent on everything thats happening without any notification. Number of people let go but no communication from manager. Everyone is anxious. If this has to be a place where everyone is happy to work, there should be transparency.
Review from Engineering Dept
Forced RTO was a bad decision; it's part of why I am quitting.
Review from Engineering Dept
Less focus on the money and more on the people.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Stop promoting folks that agree with them; rather base promotions on merits.
