What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership Reviews

There's not a lot of mid level leadership power. Everything has to go "up the chain" before it can be enacted and that keeps things slow and unorganized.

Review from HR Dept

Customer service. Everyone in sales wants to achieve and exceed the goals set. New processes are welcome to drive effeciency and best practice , but leading with fear is not what drives results. t

Review from Sales Dept

Fair compensation, more of a customer focus, hire best talent, better communication, return to what made Workay great versus replicaiting the sins of Oracle and Salesforce.

Review from Sales Dept

There's a disconnect between the company's stated goals and the resources allocated to achieve them. For example, getting rid of talent and deep historical knowledge to save trivial amounts of money but at the employee's experience?

Review from HR Dept

Federal is a mess with the new leadership. The culture is being destroyed. Executive leadership in Pleasanton doesnt seem to recognize the issues. We have a toxic leader!

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation Reviews

more stock, higher base comp

Review from HR Dept

The market drmand has reduced and the type of customer buying is different from when Workday likely started out. The ability to make money is far less.

Review from Sales Dept

I noticed some inconsistencies in how compensation and promotions are handled, and I'd like to understand the process better.

Review from Finance Dept

The is no transparency with quotas. There is no benefit for tenure. A 33% reduction in assigned accounts should not tranlate to a higher quota.

Review from Sales Dept

I think that at the level I am at, my stock is low and im not at the midpoint - I think Workday has great benefits and takes care of their employees but pay $$++ for exec leadership and the comp for P4-M4 is not competitive

Review from HR Dept

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Team Reviews

Communication skills! Many of my colleagues don't know how to talk to one another

Review from Customer Support Dept

skills, integrity and professionalism is lacking

Review from Product Dept

We need our leadership to stop getting in the way. Its enough to provude us with the objectives. We dont need constant checks and charts

Review from Product Dept

A lot of coworkers are great, but it can be very dividing between teams. And one of my workmates is rude and condescending.

Review from Communications Dept

There is not much excitement or drive in a lot of coworkers, most are just showing up to collect their pay

Review from Engineering Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Environment Reviews

Focus on communications and actually caring about the employee experience. Actual efforts beyond well-crafted messages from the leadership team. The constant org changes also don't help employees feel like they are in a stable and sane environment.

Review from Communications Dept

Managers need to be more involved and take action when workmates are not creating a positive environment.

Review from Communications Dept

Invest to education, provide time for personal project, they may help for company as well, less management levels between lowest and highest

Review from Engineering Dept

1. Review leadership capabilities and PeakOn scores. Some leaders 'grew up' at Workday and are ill-suited for the corporate challenges we now face. 2. Provide a coherent BT strategy and align 3. Enforce CoC - follow up on value-violations 4. Diversity for all - not just gender or spec. ethnicities

Review from IT Dept

We buy in to our own hype some times

Review from Engineering Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Interviews Reviews

Too many steps (the process is too long - 5/6 interviews)

Review from Customer Support Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Outlook Reviews

It's hard to get the managers that I work with to provide direct feedback to me so I can change whatever is going wrong instead of going to higher levels of the organization

Review from HR Dept

Heavy shift towards profitability shifting away from historical values of employees and customers

Review from Operations Dept

typical leadership team disconnected from the rest of the company

Review from Communications Dept

Address the accumulated technical debt and do something about it

Review from Engineering Dept

manager of developer of analytic department stop complaining and complaining

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Outlook Reviews

Gaining more of a global mindset

Review from HR Dept

Consider career advancement while employees are working from home and less visible, especially when working hard to hire externally.

Review from Product Dept

more collaboration and less but in sit mentality

Review from Engineering Dept

Middle management, overwhelmed with projects and bad timing

Review from Engineering Dept

Clearly defined path to promotion and advancement
