I need to think about this more
Most are great but there are a few bad apples who are kept around despite causing a toxic workplace culture
Listening, honesty, transparency, not micromanaging, rolling out comp plans that aren't so punitive, following through on doing what they say they will do, creating an inclusive culture, diversify the hiring a little bit, equal pay for equal work to start
The people part of the mission is ignored, micromanagement, prioritizing cents over customer relationships, stop using intimidation as a tactic to get people to do what you want, leaders ignoring toxic behaviors and environments that employees have called out and making them continue to work in them
Getting paid for closing renewals I spent the summer traveling to make sure they were secured. Also, the multi-year aspect of the comp plan is terrible. On a $3M deal (years 2 and 3), I was paid $1200. One feels exploited. Also, for any deals more than 12 months but less than 36, pay something.
