I'm very happy here. The only reason I'd consider leaving (and am) is that the raises are below inflation, so I am leaving so much money on the table by staying. Would hate to go elsewhere because I really do love working here. Great coworkers, decent work-life balance, new challenges.
Work-life balance, teamwork, and mutual trust.
Commitment to work-life balance, especially with the Summer Fridays.
Same answer as before: collaboration.
Flexing up into positions typically associated with a higher-ranking employee
Smart, self-motivated, collaborative, and they seek rather than hide from challenges
Collaborative, shared trust from all levels, and (on my immediate team) no dead weight.
Internal process improvement. There are some outdated or tedious processes that I am given the freedom to improve.
Mostly collaborative. Not much dead weight. Right mix of ambitious people who want to do/try/learn new things and the everyday load-carriers.
Firm stance on no layoffs. Honest attempts to create a healthy culture and workplace environment by implementing Summer Fridays and encouraging ERG/CARES time.
Work-life balance. Flexible working hours and a strong avoidance of contacting team members outside of working hours means people can unplug after work.
Big fan of the flexibility and wide range of options that LNRS includes (even if most aren't subsidized). ESPP is great, PTO is competitive.
Collaboration is a major part of the culture. With fully remote teams, there can be a tendency for employees to feel siloed and isolated, but that is not the case here.
In more than one all hands meeting, leadership announced that they have not and will not consider layoffs. I hope leadership understands what a dramatic impact this has on personal and professional wellbeing.
My manager gives me flexibility to take on tasks that are higher level than our usual day-to-day project work; I can take on team and occasionally department-level initiatives. I enjoy these tasks the most.
5% that increases to 6% 401(k) match is healthy, and I love the new ESPP program that has me (for the first time in my life) invested in the success of my company's stock value.
I'm enjoying the new ESPP program; nice to feel invested in the company, even if only a small amount. Total non-work time (PTO, floating holidays, CARES, ERG, new-parent leave) is healthy, and being encouraged to use it is great.
CARES + ERG days are great to encourage people to engage in things they care about. Health insurance options are nice so I can tweak based on my life situation. Flexible work from home and "WFA Weeks" offset limited PTO.
I almost never see or hear from them because they are all based in the UK. It's a little annoying that it feels like the leadership team forgets about the US team, but also nice that they don't try to over-manage a team they know little about.
I'm not a "live for my job" kind of person. Having a job that motivates me and excites me enough to not dread work is a good sign, and then having a comfortable work-life balance allows me to perform well while being happy in my personal life.
