Sabre is a great company created by great People working here. I really enjoy my daily work despite everyday challenges. However - I see a negative trend of employing people not skilled enough to keep up the pace, which might be demotivating. Also-transparency is decreasing, which is a bit worrying.
great people and focus on team work all around Sabre.
Interactions with smart & knowledgable people, sharing my knowledge, finding bugs and taking care of quality of products I'm responsible for. Long story short: people.
Some of my coworkers are very experienced people with great knowledge and are openly sharing their knowledge and skills. I like to collaborate with them on daily basis.
About Executive Leadership: transparency and diligent actions to get us through covid (as it was extremally bumpy journey, which thanks to our CEO and his executive team was managed well)
The team consists mainly from people who spent several years in the company. Thus - I love our team work and partnership which helps us to overcome even most difficult items.
Recent sudden change of merit cycle delayed possible increase for me. I hope its just a half-year delay. Comparing to some of my colleagues - I believe I'm doing much more than I'm paid for (and was hoping to get it equalized with merit..)
Sean was a great leader, who taken us through biggest crisis in the industry so far (covid). His transparency and honesty (when he could share of course) is great inspiration for me. I hope Kurt will follow this great example to invest in Sabre's People.
better answer for previous question would be 'neutral'. Sabre has many cumbersome processes and sometimes 'going to work' means fighting with them, which tends to be both frustrating and boring. In all other cases - I'm really glad I work here with the people I work with on daily basis.
Transparency and trust that people are most important assets of this company. However - this approach was created and led by Sean, and I'm not having 100% confidence this approach will be followed by Kurt. Also - culture of help (all TMs are open to help whenever asked) is very important for me.
