Hard to say because I just joined a new team.
People seem to be nice, but the "it isn't my job" and "I won't go the extra mile" is extremely discouraging. The accountability here is really lacking.
I know some of the exec team so they are responsive to me. I def appreciate that. Not sure that'd be the case if I didn't know them already...hard to say either way.
Accountability --there are only a few people that will go the extra mile to help you out. People are slow to respond and then just say they "don't do what you're asking". Rarely do you even get someone to point you in the right direction. Super frustrating and mind blowing.
Salaries at Vertafore are just lower than elsewhere by quite a bit. I also think that if Vertafore requires people to return to the office we're going to lose a lot of people. Other tech companies now have full remote options, so I worry about that for me team, and also for me.
