Its ok. Very slow and bureaucratic. Most training isn't about being a good creator of value, rather better at being a LN employee. Whilst the job security is good, you do feel like you are slowly going stale.

Good benefits, interesting job, fantastic flexibility. Growth opportunities become limited at a particular point in the hierarchy.

Flexibility - the freedom to work around other life commitments where necessary.

The desire to allow employees to have a good work / life balance

Overcoming obstacles and seeing progress. Eventually seeing that solution deliver value to our customers.

Good at keeping the market happy and thus providing a stable company to work for.

The best thing about my team is the desire to get stuck in and deliver for our customers.
Revisión
The best thing in the most part is the intellectual curiosity and the sense of having each other's back.

Identifying issues, forming a plan to fix the issue, then fixing the issue. Creating value for our customers.

Being visible. They are not on the shop floor enough. All their effort seems to be spent managing up. Very little time or effort looking after their people.
Revisión
Finding a problem that impacts our customers, developing a solution to that problem, delivering that solution and making our customer's happy. And getting paid for it!
Revisión
They care - they care a lot. They struggle to overcome obstacles and deliver value to our customers but stick with it and usually succeed. They also support each other.
Revisión
Transparency at the top - too many senior managers towing the line to suit their careers rather than being genuine leaders and challenging the issues that cause their reports issues.
Revisión
I feel undervalued as the organisation constantly aims to reduce my ability to exercise my role & skillset. Combine this with how other areas are lavished with generous expenses policies and 5* holidays (sales), it's actually very easy to see how the company doesn't value me.
Revisión
My discipline and the value it brings is not recognised. The senior leadership is all sales dominated and only sees value in the the last link of the value chain. Seeing sales people get 5 star holidays while we get expense and travel bans reinforces this. Pay me more.

There is nothing wrong with the salary and bonus I am receiving for my job level. My issue is that I am performing at and doing a job at a level above what I am officially 'marked' as. As a result, I feel trapped and needing to look outside the company for any career progression.
