Break down silos between teams sharing a common purpose. Train individuals to do non-management tasks that managers often get bogged down with. Pay equitably and institute regular promotions based on merit.

There is a wealth of knowledge, education, and skill throughout my organization; however, the work ethic is awful due to low pay, unequal application of standards, lack of meaningful recognition/promotions, and gross mismanagement of resources/people at the director-level.

Pay is way below industry standards. I believe the company tries to make up for that through fringe benefits like 2nd.MD, Working Advantage, Living Well/Sharecare, etc.; however, none of these make up for a base salary ~20-30%+ below industry standards.

Get rid of some fringe benefits/perks and pay closer to industry standards. Reign in wasteful spending like company phones for positions that do not require them, expensive meals/parties for teams with <25% participation, and data entry/processing in areas where training/AI could cut costs.

Morale and work ethic are suffering because of gross mismanagement. Our director does not respond to emails, makes promises they cannot fulfill, and does not take responsibility for their behavior. There is a lot of 'red tape,' poor communication, and unveiled hypocrisy.
