overall good, but no longer great as it used to be
challenging, without clear prospects for the future, working as good as I can
other people, my team, community I belong to
domain and work experience, professionalism
openness of some of them, answering even difficult questions
great engagement, being committed to their work, skilled professionals
people - teammates, colleagues, flexibility
consistent communication, seem to have the same vision and goals
they are professional, with great domain knowledge, skilled, mature and enthusiastic
friendly atmosphere, great people, volunteering actions and emphasis on the work-life balance
getting a positive feedback about team's accomplishments, feeling that what we do provides value
knowing that my actions can actually help others and contribute to the team's well being and success
They are helpful, share knowledge with one another, we create a safe space where we all feel welcomed.
being paid less than people reporting to me on the same level, despite having a wider sets of responsibilities
There are ways of getting support with mental health challenges, I feel comfortable when I need to take time off/sick leave, I feel support from the People Team when needed.
Compared to the amount of work and responsibilities I have, and based on the compensation of my direct reports, I feel undervalued. Also other similar companies on the market have better offers for people with my skills and knowledge.
As a manager, my salary is below some of my team members, I know that on the market I would get a better salary and that new joiners are paid better money compared to the ones being here for longer, that creates frustration and makes me feel treated unfair.
