It affords me a good life and allows me to pursue interests and passions. That is at the expense, however, of it being monotonous, innocuous drudgery on the best of days, and exceedingly frustrating, stressful, and soul-crushing on the worst of days.

More dedication to better work THE FIRST TIME, better attention to detail, more effort to think critically and or use context clues to solve problems/troubleshoot issues/provide solutions

We need more strictly enforced processes/procedures, tighter QA/QC, more automation of menial/repetitive tasks, and about 2-3x as many bodies doing the work we have so more individuals are shouldering less burden and can better focus on fewer tasks.

Less effort spent on implementing "frills" and more effort spent on efficiently ensuring better quality work output (i.e. - implementing tools/procedures/systems that will automate repetitive tasks, regression testing, more meaningful and impactful feedback when expectations are NOT met, etc.)
