We are a tight-knit team and are all actively interested in the success of each other. Sometimes it feels like we are trying to succeed individually and collectively despite the direction of the company, but we strive and struggle together.

Employees below a certain rank seem much more connected with entry level employees, and thus foster a sense of genuinely desiring and wanting to help rather than being preoccupied with budgets, bottom lines, etc. This creates a tight-knit brigade of employees trying to do good despite obstacles.

The SLT seems mostly geared towards the potential future sale of the company which naturally means they are focused on extremely short term goals rather than the long term success of people at the company. They need to focus on long-term success of employees rather than short term profitability

Though I still think I am below average for my job title, I believe given my experience and acumen I am paid fairly for what I do. Benefits are a huge reason why people stay even if they are not happy with the company, I believe. It's a great benefits package.

Work has become a treadmill of putting out fires and responding to critical customer issues I have no direct way of fixing or correcting and feeling responsible and blamed when I or my department cannot fix said issues. Finger pointing is rampant and no one wants to resolve the underlying issues.
