I have had multiple roles within the company, and I constantly feel like I am learning new things. Through the transition with the new team the culture has shifted for the better.

The people and almost family-like atmosphere

They attempt to be transparent about issues as much as they can

The thought that maybe something that I do is helping someone stay safe

A teamwork and helpful culture. Never a stupid question, always someone to give advice or tips.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
In general the pay scale is lower than tbe competition. If cost of living was a factor, a cost of living increase should be considered
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The culture is fine, but the work itself is draining in nature. The company plays no role in that, just the state of the world.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
While I understand that the company is trying to get back into the black, I do not feel like much is done for employee retention. The 401 match was a good start, but there aren't any real perks as an employee. Location-based pay is no longer relevant in this economy, and misses vs competition.
