Great to work at Sabre, but I have no idea if the company (or my position) will exist tomorrow.
Lots of work (most of which I enjoy), but hardly making ends meet, and no opportunities of career growth.
It all starts at the executive team.
I value learning from each other.
Every conversation is an enjoyable and learning experience.
learning from my coworkers and manager.
the fact that it is multicultured / multi-language / global.
Merit increase delayed 4-5 months, in the midst of record-breaking inflation.
Hard to say at this moment (and these questions should not be mnadatory)
day-to-day professional achievement (not the lack of career growth), and my paycheck + benefits.
Great merit for having navigated Sabre through Covid. Not yet sure about this Team handling post-Covid recovery + resession + new labor markets, etc.
Inflation, financial goals down the drain, not making ends meet... while HR takes one year to make adjustments. Sorry, no nice way to say this.
Taking one year is too long to map positoins and to close the market salary gap. By then too much talent would have left the company.
Per the current strategy, I can't disagree with moving away from the "spreading the peanut butter" strategy, but only time will tell if Sabre will be able to cut/prune its way into success.
Inflation over the past 5 years has decimated our purchasing power. I'm talking of the ~100% in the grocery stores, property taxes, travel, etc, not the YoY 2-3% the Government is reporting in 2024 (now that the inflation has cooled, but prices remain high). Please, salaries need to be adjusted.
