the compemsation keeps mind occupied and creates demotivation. The feeling is always. why to strive soo much when there will be no returns eventually,
the compensation is not in line with the market levels. while entire market salaries have changed , sabre is not still there. JSR should have helped but it was also just word play.
recognition of actual talent, to make sure current talent feels valued. Instead of promoting ppl who are good with words and not doing anything as such. promote cross hiring within teams to help ppl find varied carrier paths.
i am being paid below the market and many new hires are getting much more than what i get. i believe i have more experience and more skills to get paid above these new hires. Also i see many promotions in other teams which are not justified. ppl get promoted for talking nicely not working.
I feel i am not being paid at par with market and it keeps bothering me all the time. It really drains energy to constantly keep thinking that you are not paid correctly and you can choose to leave. Its will reach a point where decision will have to be made and it will not help anyone.
