Accomplishing concrete goals. Working with a good team.
They're accessible and seem to be committed to the company and our goals.
Raises, mentors, career guidance for all - not just the golden child of the week.
They're competent, seem nice, but clique-ish. As much as I enjoy the flexibility of WFA, it hasn't helped. I do think my team seems more competent than others I interact with.
I have not had a merit raise in years despite taking on additional responsibilities and receiving exceeds expectations and outstanding ratings. The only raises we get are cost of living adjustments and should not be passed off as raises.
Less micromanagement. 2-3 layers of people on any given project are redundant. No one can make a decision. Or if they do their manager overturns it and then their manager overturns that. Less groupthink. Multiple people on each project add no value. It doesn't take 6 people to make every decision.
Have had an increasingly heavy workload for years with no commensurate pay increase. We've been asked to buy into being a part of something bigger at Sabre and I do, but it's been at the expense of my outside life. Need more salary progression and clear direction on how to get a substantial raise.
