They keep talking about leadership
Being included in decision making and using all my abilities to produce a product for the customer that I am proud of.
The old attitude of cutting through the nonsense to get the job done and sticking with it until it is properly completed. Doing a good job rather than producing a good report or soundbite.
Their depth of subject matter knowledge. Their understanding of Sabre's core revenue streams, what makes money and what is peripheral. Their ownership of issues and drive to improve Sabre rather than ticking boxes and furthering their own ambitions.
Under trusted and under empowered. Doing the same job as 10 years ago with worse tools and less authority. Centralizing power with all authority lying up the Leadership chain doesn't make for strong agile decision making in adversity. Nothing will replace flight benefits.
