I have a very positive experience working for Vertafore, my manager and coworkers are supportive and collaborative. I love the work from home flexibility and the in office events every quarter!
Vertafore has some amazing employees and I am a part of a great team. However, leadership recently made changes that negatively impact employee's work/life balance and morale. They do not address their low employee satisfaction surveys by removing new and unpopular in office requirement policies.
My experience with Vertafore has significantly declined from 4 years ago. They underpay and undervalue their employees. They are moving towards full time in office and the requirement is not the same for all teams. Commutes/parking expenses increase with no wage increase, causing high turnover.
Very collaborative and willing to help.
Better annual raises and competitive pay
My team collaborates very well!
Great immediate team members, however cross-department collaboration is terrible.
The flexibility to work from home and the positive atmosphere.
There are no actions from the leadership team that I like best.
The flexibility to work from home, yet come into the office for team building events.
My direct Manager is extremely attentive to my goals and truly excels in supporting her team!
Leadership needs to reinstate the flexible first model. Requiring in-office days every week has decreased employee morale.
The culture and environment on my team is positive, I feel empowered to have transparent conversations with my direct manager.
Vertafore had a positive culture and environment in the past. They eliminated the flexible first work environment and now require in office days every week which demonstrates their lack of appreciation for their employees.
The flexible first work environment has recently been eliminated and Vertafore now requires in office days every week. Increasing an employee's commute and the cost of parking cancels out the little to nothing raises received for the year. I sincerely hope they reconsider their negative changes.
Vertafore has stopped flexible remote work for several teams. They have put restrictions on some to come into the office several day a week, while some teams are able to continue 100% remote work. The mis-alignment sends mixed messages and creates a negative work culture of biases.
The raises are never above 2% for excellent reviews. The promotion raise is a non-negotiable 6% - this includes the 2% yearly raise, which makes a promotion a 4% raise. They are increasing in office time to full time without warning and do not pay for parking. Benefits are expensive and awful!
