Knowing that I am getting a paycheck every 14 days, makes me most happy at work. That is why I look forward to coming to work every day.
The sheer nature of the job is a beast, being that it is production based. Therefore, regularly scheduled opportunities to interact or team build might undergird an even more productive work environment.
What I like best about the leadership team is that they "seem" to care about me, as a person, by asking the right questions; however, it is the follow-up that is disappointing.
I feel undervalued because while it is obvious that my peers are given opportunities to expand their knowledge, I, apparently, have to beg for it. Re compensation, I would feel better making $20k more and I believe a company as well established financially, as LexisNexis is, could easily afford it.
We can come comfortably dressed; although, an aspect of the dress code is questionable. If "leggings" are worn, one must wear a top long enough to cover your backside. Fine. Why do we get to wear "jeans" that fit like leggings, w/o covering? Mgrs wear those jeans daily w/ shirts that don't cover!
