This company isn't one that simply demands labor, it actively invests in its employees' success.

Shutterfly: I love working for Shutterfly, but there is always a gloomy feeling that there will be more layoffs, and I am the sole provider for my family so it's hard to be 100% comfortable. Esri: The company looks great from the outside. Once in, you find raises are less than cost of living and not merit based, and advancement can be very difficult as it is micro-managed at the highest level. Esri: As someone who had no software development experience when hired, I was quite intimidated. I was honest about this fact. My team welcomed me with open arms, and ensured me there are no silly questions. The culture of my company is that of doing our work can change the world for the better.
Esri: Esri has become so big it is run like a typical corporate business as opposed to when and how they started
Esri: My job challenges me to grow personally, as well as professionally, and I love it.
Esri: I love this company. The only thing I do not love is the emphasis in some ways on separating us into groups based on social issues/race. Specifically, this was in the new employee onboarding process where we went into breakout rooms. As a white female, I didnt have a group I could be part of.
