A pretty decent company. My manager and my department are amazing. I have struggled with certain departments and how difficult they can be. Sometimes I think leadership is too focused on necessary things. Sometimes they make good calls. It's a mixed bag? I've had lots of leadership oppurtunities
What makes you most happy at work?
My coworkers and some of the side projects I get to work on
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate that they try to be flexible to life's circumstances. Such as COL raises, time off for hurricane relief, etc
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Honestly, I feel like the insurance options aren't great. For a company that values better health for a better humanity, I feel like the insurance is really expensive and the actual options have such a high deductible. And insurance that covers more mental health issues, ours is lacking
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is kind, they make me laugh when work is frustrating, they care about their learners, they want to make their experience at Nightingale a good one, they are empathetic, they try to support other collabs when they need an extra boost, and they're just fun to work with
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I like that we recognize people are people. People get sick, loved ones pass away, last minute things come up...and there seems to be a culture that understands that and accounts for that. People are supportive of going out of office. People are supported when they simply want to go on vacation.
