Response during covid was laudable, however focus on declining business (GDS), high levels of debts, stock performance and regular talks of restructuring even when overall travel is recovering has soured sentiment.
Company seems to have the wrong direction and focus. Debt is too high and revenue profile not encouraging in a shrinking distribution environment
Focus on employee engagement and overall vision
Transparency, sensitivity. Made the right decision during covid.
Need more time to assess new leadership team
Diverse, smart, focused, knowledgeable and passionate
Collaboration, team work and positive attitude
Welcoming, team players and passionate
Competitive with market, merit increases to factor in inflation at least, better stock performance
1. Compensation / increments in line with inflation & external market factors, 2. Improvement in stock price
Not many employees show up at work. ELC's visit to Singapore was really good in boosting morale.
Compensation is not competitive, more over stock is down 60% in a year and close to covid lows even when travel is recovering, rendering stock based compensation worthless
More employees should start coming to office especially in Singapore given that govt. restrictions are over & pandemic under control. Flexibility is important but WFH without accountability is going too far
WFH while good should be scaled back to improve team work and productivity. Negative feedback loop of customer losses, GDS bookings less than forecast and lower stock price needs to change. Lastly sudden focus on I&D and ESG in an environment of declining revenue is unnecessary
