I enjoy what I do at Sabre. The people I work with make it all worth while.

I get to fix things... I'm a "fixer".
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
annual pay raising that kept pace with inflation.

We're treated like the professional adults that we are.

When I fix something others have looked at and were unable to fix.

They appear transparent as to the decisions they are making about the future of the company.

They seem to be willing to embrace new technology and are not stuck doing things the way we used to.

My team is good at supporting each other... we don't get stuck in the mindset of "that's not my job".

We are always willing to help out even if it's not our direct responsibility. We know that we are understaffed and if we don't help each other, we are going to fail.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We have had a high attrition rate of really good employees and we've stayed in touch. They report back that other companies in the area are paying 20-30% more base pay for doing the equivalent job than Sabre is.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As co-workers have left the company over the years, they have directly told me how much more other companies are offering for the same skill sets. Every co-worker I know that has left Sabre went on to make 20-30% more on their base salary.
