Often times it's very frustrating because Sabre could achieve amazing things if we tapped our long-term employee knowledge pool for planning instead of hiring consultants or going off whatever article whichever short term Exec recently read. We employ industry experts, and we should use their brains

Stick with something for more than a few quarters.

When you speak with someone, they are usually willing to help.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Pay us fairly and hold people who don't perform and fail accountable.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My direct team is amazing. Everyoneover overachieves, and is there to completely support each other.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm not compensated beyond peers for knowledge accumulated over years, but always tapped for advice and special projects because of it.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Quicker tempo, less obstacles, gamification of goals/objectives, and not so much churn accompanying every success. Some view a win as a loss because it involves work.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Holding product accountable for continued failures. Also addressing pay inequities for long-term employees who keep the ship sailing and make less than new hires who know nothing about our business.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If I made as much or more than recently hired peers who sit a level below me on the org chart and make more. Also if some consideration was given for all the long-term knowledge I've accumulated. The longer you're with Sabre the more valuable your opinion is and the more you're asked, but not reward

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There's a huge gap between the top and the bottom. Culture is super strong when you're up near the sea suite, and traveling and interacting with other executives all the time. But at the bottom, we can't even get together for kickoff events as a team yet see our goals and productivity go up every ye

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I am just not paid a competitive wage for the role that I am in. 2 to 3% a year and slight bumps with advancement of not at all kept pace with the broader job market. It's unfortunate that if I left and someone new was hired for my roleI am 100% confident their base salary would be at least 25% more
