Over the years I've worked very hard and have been rewarded with promotions. I've earned time off based on years of service. It's a little sad to see new hires starting at a higher level/salary w/same amount of PTO. I get it-we need resources/talent, but we're the ones training them.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem genuine in caring for team members as real people and in the long term future of our company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The concern for the well-being of individuals and Work-Life balance. The encouragement to take care of our physical and mental well being. Because of C19, Sabre has embraced WFA which has allowed for Work-Life balance to be a very real thing.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Courtesy and Partnership. Everyone is respectful and helpful. Spending time away from work helps get to know each other on a more personal level to understand what we value and what we may be challenged with. All of which make working together better.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Yes, at times feel undervalued. I believe in longevity & loyalty-not moving from company to company as a way to earn more money and titles. One should be able to do that w/in the same company by learning the business and being valued. New hire salaries are higher and huge PTO at day 1 vs earning.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love the work I do, I do it well. I don't feel like I'm being micro-managed. I know my boss is supportive and I can go to them with anything - professional or personal. I love having PTO throughout the year to look forward to. I love the year end break! Now no worry about running out of PTO.
