I've been here a while and have found some rare opportunities to grown in my career (been in current position for a while now). My co-workers are great but struggled with my most recent leader. Also challenging when systems don't work and fixes & enhancements are hard to get. Mostly reactive.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Emphasis on diversity and inclusion (its getting better).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Openness and transparency around sharing information regarding the company and its direction.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being presented with new challenges/issues to work through - I like being a problem solver. I also enjoy working with new people (different teams or new customers/partners).
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work great together and understand each others strengths and weaknesses. We can easily come together to look at a problem and come up with a workable solution that shares the workload.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When you look at similar roles in other organizations, we are definitely paid less and are overworked. I've also seen the pay rate of my manager and don't believe they are deserving of that much considering their overall lack of effectiveness as a leader.
