Good salary (even if I know I am still not a top earner comparing to similar level in my country, but it's ok). Extremely great Manager (my direct one) and great team in EMEA. Not so great top leadership, meaning that they do their job, but the value of the company has not increased in years
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Sabre is a good company in Europe for job security and salary. I feel we lost our way in the technology department since our products are often buggy and every release is simply a pain. I don't think we care enough about that and in fact this has happened since I was hired 10 years or so ago.

Work from home and work from anywhere

We are a cohesive unit and we know our strenghts and weaknesses

I like that they talk extensively about the company during the all hands meetings

I'm fairly happy with my salary, I don't mind the stock options, because the company is performing so badly in the stock market

We are always open and happy to help each other. The are some real knowledge people. Unfortunately many times there is not enough space for collaboration because of the amount of work
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
You really don't want to hear about the negative. Ok, the ability to work from home, with freedom to work at the pace one need. Within my organization we are trying to bring down silos, work in cooperation, but the culture is sometimes still from the 70s
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of Technical leadership. Ties with companies that slow down instead of improve our technology (Microsoft... now we are with Google and at least the servers should be on a reliable OS, this should have happened years ago). Lack of accountability: many "high level" people screw up.
