It is good. Despite being a big company with many processes etc, we can still move fairly fast in the product I'm working with.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Very corporate, but better than I've experienced in other large corporations. I like that Sabre try to reinvent themselves to succeed in the marketplace. I don't get the sense that they're a slow moving corporation that has stopped innovating.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Paying for home internet and phone.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People focus and a get it done mentality

12 weeks parental leave with full pay, health/fitness compensation and phone.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting good feedback from the team and them expressing they're happy.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The amount of communication from leadership team is very good. Keep it up!

They care deeply about the product we're working on and care for each other.

They are very communicative and I get a sense that they truly care about the people in Sabre.

I've got a few really good people that care about the success of the team and the product we work on.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Being able to recruit high quality developers to my team would help a lot. Managing lesser developers is not great and creates unnecessary time sinks for the good developers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Most developers via contractor companies are not especially good. It's way better to spend more on fewer, but better, people compared to spending less on many people. Smaller developer teams with A-level people lead to better end products.
