When I started at Sabre, 20 years ago, I thought I was going to make a career in the company. I had big dreams and worked really hard, unfortunately, I discovered that your career most of the time depends on your manager or director to recognize you and promote you. Great company, not great leaders.

Their aim to succeed and reinvent the company
What makes you most happy at work?
Learning and being able to make a difference for our customers and the teams that work with them directly.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love the networking, the diversity, and the community work done. Also, the different groups allow me to grow and learn while working. That's where I feel I'm more valuable.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I used to say the medical insurance when we had MP as a provider in the past, but now with BCBS - it's not good. The rest is ok, but it could be improved.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I work in a team where the rest of the coworkers settle for average instead of aiming for the best. Well, unfortunately I was the one to lower my expectations and that is kind of demotivating, but nothing else I can do while I work in this team.
